How do I book an appointment or request a prescription refill?

You can book an appointment or request medication renewals by calling the office directly at (441) 295-1110 during working hours. Please Note: General email forms and standard email inquiries are for general practice questions only. Clinical questions, medication refill requests, and appointment bookings cannot be handled over email. Prescription renewals are completed by the end of the working day, so please request refills before taking your last dose.

Is Somers Medical Services accepting new patients?

Yes, Somers Medical Services warmly welcomes new patients of all ages—from newborns and pediatric patients to adults and seniors.

How does insurance billing and payment work at the clinic?

As a service to patients, Somers Medical Services bills local insurance companies directly. Co-payments: Co-payments are appreciated at the time of your visit. Payment Plans: If you have concerns regarding your ability to pay, you can contact accounts@somersmed.com to discuss a customized payment plan.

How will I receive my lab and diagnostic test results?

If your test or investigation results (such as ECGs, blood work, or glucose screenings) are abnormal, a doctor or staff member will contact you directly to discuss them. However, you are always welcome to call the practice during office hours to check on any routine test results.

What diagnostic tests are performed on-site at the clinic?

The clinic offers several quick, point-of-care diagnostic and monitoring tests, including: Electrocardiograms (ECG) for cardiovascular checks On-site blood glucose testing Precise INR monitoring for blood-thinning medication management

Do you provide official medical exams for driver’s licenses or insurance policy requirements?

Yes. The physicians perform official professional medical examinations required for Bermuda driving license renewals/applications as well as life insurance medical evaluations.

Through Somers Dermatology Services, patients have access to specialized care led by board-certified expertise.
